Greenburst Kicks


This project will have you tapping your sunflower-covered toes in no time.

MATERIALS

  • Canvas shoes
  • Chenille 18 needle
  • Thimble
  • Embroidery thread
  • Embroidery scissors
  • Felt
  • Tacky glue

1. Transfer the pattern onto the toe of each shoe.

2. Stitch the pattern following the key for the greenburst sunflower. (see Autumn Flowers in Flowers Category: Sunflower (Greenburst)).

3. Protect the back of the finished embroidery by gluing a circle of felt (in the same size as the pattern) to the inside of the shoes.


USE A THIMBLE TO HELP PUSH THE NEEDLE THROUGH THE THICK CANVAS OF THE SHOES.
